SHAFAQNA – Imam Ali (AS) was asked about the commentary (Tafseer) of Ayah 97 of Surah Al-Nahl which says: “Whoever acts righteously, man or woman and has faith; verily, to him/her God will give a new life, a life that is good and pure and God will reward them according to the best of their deeds.” Imam Ali (AS) replied: This is about having a life of contentment (a life without waste; a life when everything is used accordingly to the need of the human being; avoiding lavish lifestyle; to be content with having essentials of life) [1].
