SHAFAQNA – Imam Ali (AS) said: Greed is everlasting slavery. Meaning greed is worse than slavery [1]. Luqman the wise advised his son about greed by saying: My son, if you want to attain dignity in this world, cut your greed towards what are in the hands of people because the prophets and the pious ones reached such high positions only by cutting the greed [2].
