SHAFAQNA – According to Islam, accepting others apologies is very useful because based on the principle of compassion; be compassionate so you can be compensated by Divine Mercy. Imam Ali (AS) recommended to his son Mohammad Hanafiyeh: Accept the excuse of the person who offers you an apology in order that you will be entitled to intercession [1]. Imam Ali (AS) waed those who do not accept the excuses of others and said: How ugly and inappropriate it is when the human being wants to punish a person who committed a sin and offers an apology [2].
