“The Halal Guys,” a restaurant chain that began as a food cart in New York City is expected to open in Wisconsin.
The restaurant features Middle Easte and Mediterranean cuisine.
It will open on Milwaukee’s East Side, near Oakland and Hampshire Avenue in late April or early May.
Officials with “The Halal Guys” are also looking into a location in Madison near UW.
