Question: What is the ruling about guiding a person who intends to abort a foetus, practically (perform or abandon) and situational circumstances (bringing into effect)? Is it allowed to sell drugs for aborting foetus?
The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi: Even though guiding (someone) to carry out such Haram act is not allowed but according to situational circumstances, caot be guaranteed. Selling drugs in cases which cause near Haram abortion is not allowed.
