SHAFAQNA – The War on Children [Yemen], broadcasted on August 23 2016, on ABC’s television program Foreign Corespondent , shed a long awaited light on the silent and deadly war on the children of Yemen. Yemen’s war, which has been inaccurately painted as civil war by mainstream media is actually a war of democratic restoration and rebuttal of foreign diktat – and more particularly Saudi influence. It all began in early 2015 when the Ansarallah movement, also known as the Houthis enacted popular will by assuming authority over Sana’a govement. Saudi pilots have launched yet another airstrike on a school in the Yemeni province of Ta’izz, with no information immediately available on possible casualties. According to Yemen’s al-Masirah television, the air raid hit the al-Rawd school in the district of Dabab in weste Ta’izz early on Monday.In the war Saudi Arabia has launched on Yemen, the Saudi forces have been targeting schools, hospitals, residential buildings, roads, markets and refugee camps. SHAFAQNA – A halal supermarket in a Paris suburb has been told by local authorities it must start selling alcohol and pork or else it will be shut down. Good Price discount mini-market in Colombes has been told by the local housing authority, from which it rents its premises, that it has not followed the conditions on the lease that stipulate that the shop must act as a “general food store.” The authority argues that all members of the local community are not being served properly if there are no alcohol or pork products in the Good Price store, which is run as a franchise and which last year replaced another small supermarket. “The mayor of Colombes, Nicole Goueta, went there herself and asked the owner to diversify the range of products by adding alcohol and non-halal meats,” the mayor’s chief of staff, Jérôme Besnard, told The Telegraph. He said locals, particularly older residents, had complained that they could no longer get the full range of products at Good Price, which replaced a regular supermarket, and had to travel some distance now to do their shopping. “We want a social mix. We don’t want any area that is only Muslim or any area where there are no Muslims,” Mr Besnard said, adding that the town’s reaction would have been the same had a kosher shop opened on that spot. The Colombes housing authority argues that the store breaches French republican principles by prioritising a certain group within society rather than catering to all categories. It has taken legal action to bring an end to the lease which would normally run until 2019. The case goes to court in October. Soulemane Yalcin, who runs the shop under franchise, said he was merely catering to the demands of his customers in this area of large public housing estates. “It’s business,” said Mr Yalcin. “I look around me and I target what I see. SHAFAQNA – Sickening racist abuse regularly posted by warped trolls on Facebook — worsened since the Brexit vote — depicts ethnic minorities as “scum”, “rapists” and “terrorists” and orders them to leave the UK, Daily Star Online has found.The UK voted to leave the EU in June.But last year net migration to the UK rose to around 333,000 — the second-highest figure ever.Since the vote migrants and specific religious groups — notably Muslims — have suffered shocking abuse online.And social media has represented these minorities as threats to national security and criminals for years, it has emerged.It comes days after a nationwide #BlackAugust campaign raising awareness of racism blocked roads, including access to Heathrow Airport.Sick trolls and far right groups — including the English Defence League and Britain First — disseminate online hate and hostility, particularly after major global terror attacks like Brussels 2016. The investigation found hundreds of instances of anti-Muslim hate alone on Facebook, calling Muslims “terrorists”, “rapists”, claiming Muslim women are national security threats, ordering Muslims to be deported and posts referring to a “war” between Muslims and “us”. The offenders included far right groups, such as the English Brotherhood, but also twisted fantasists determined to spread hate. Shockingly, even councillors’ posts were found to be slurs. Cllr Tim Paul Hicks, who represents UKIP on Shepshed Town Council in Leicestershire, is under investigation after allegedly making a series of anti-Muslim Facebook posts. He is accused of putting up a spate of racist images between July 10 and July 20 before the account was taken down five days later.
