SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Sistani answered a question about smoking at the place with a “smoking is forbidden” sign.
Question: In some buses and other vehicles is written “smoking is forbidden”, is smoking allowed in such places?
The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: if this case is depending on the implicit condition that the passenger in that vehicle has accepted, and/or such a thing is the govemental rule which after entering the country must be observed, it is necessary to act accordingly and doing the opposite is not allowed.

SHAFAQNA – The Houthi forces, backed by the Yemeni Republican Guard, seized a number of points inside the Midi Desert near the Saudi-Yemeni border today, advancing as far north as the Jizan Region of Saudi Arabia.
According to Al-Masdar’s Yemen War correspondent, Tony Toh, the Houthi forces and their allies killed 41 fighters from the Saudi-led Coalition on Monday after seizing a number of sites from the latter.
Making matters worse for the Saudi-led Coalition, the Houthi forces continued their advance in the Najran Valley, as they captured new points near the provincial capital.
The Saudi-led Coalition’s recent losses in the Jizan and Najran regions has taken a toll on their morale, as they struggle to beat back the anti-govement forces invading the southe part of their country.

SHAFAQNA – It is narrated from Imam Baqer (AS) who said: If you want to know there is good in you or not, look at your heart. If you like those who obey God, and do not like those who commit sins, there is good in you, and God likes you. But if your heart does not like those who obey God, and likes those who commit sins, know that there is no good in you and God does not like you, and every human being stays with someone who he/she likes [1].

Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) message to the people on the Day of Ghadeer and its significance
The Introduction:
The day of Ghadeer (18th Zilhajj) is a very important day in the history of Islam and every Muslim irrespective of his sect or creed should be well versed with it. It is the day when in the words of Allah, the Almighty, He “perfected” His religion and “completed” His bounties on the people. The Almighty Allah declares in Surah Maidah (5) – Verse 3
الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الإِسْلاَمَ دِينًا
“Today I have perfected your religion and completed my favour upon you, and I am satisfied that Islam be your religion.”

It is clear from the Holy Qur’an and the traditions that performance of Hajj (Pilgrimage) is obligatory on every person who has attained puberty and has the means mentioned below.Hajj is one of the basic principles of Islam; its performance is one of its essentials, and its non-performance is a grave sin. Denial of the obligatory nature of Hajj is blasphemy (kufr). SHAFAQNA – Three UN Special Rapporteurs addressed in a letter to the Bahraini Govement “conceing” information about alleged pattes of continuous discrimination against Shia citizens (mainly Bahaa and Ajam), which have been taking place since 2011, and which are “undermining their rights to freedoms of religion, expression and culture;” in addition to the effect of the whole situation on the human rights of Shiites in the country.
The address published recently on the website of the commissioner was officially sent to the Govement of Bahrain at the end of October 2015 to enquire about the reports which the UN rapporteurs deemed conceing. The Special Rapporteur in the field of cultural rights, Fareeda Shaheed, Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, Philip Alston, and Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief pursuant to Human Rights Council Heiner Bielefeldt signed the letter.

A Paris-based illustrator and filmmaker who goes by the handle Maeril on Tumblr has posted a short and helpful illustrated how-to guide for bystanders who want to step in and help someone experiencing Islamophobic harassment in a public place. She also made a version with a French translation as well, since she specifically hopes that her guide will help bystanders combatting the growing problem of Islamophobia in France.
In her post about the guide, Maeril elaborated on that: “Some could say: ‘yes but you can use that technique for instances of harassment other than Islamophobic attacks!’, and my reply is: Sure! Please do so, it also works for other ‘types’ of harassment of a lone person in a public space!! SHAFAQNA – If Yemen remains synonymous with unrest and violence thanks to the military deluge Saudi Arabia has insisted on drowning the impoverished nation under since late March 2015, Terror had yet to claim its fill of blood. Terror as it were never could assert its warped religious rationale onto Yemen – not beyond a few clusters, not to the point where Terror could ever present any real existential threat to the Yemeni Republic.

Today, Saudi Arabia is actively working to change that reality! Saudi Arabia I would add, absolutely needs for Terror to become Yemen’s newest existential threat to counteract that which is now threatening its own.

SHAFAQNA- Do you know what your tears look like at a microscopic level? Dutch artist Maurice Mikkers does, and he’s been looking at hundreds of them. It seems that our tears can be as unique as snowflakes, and have a similar crystallised look under a microscope.
Mikkers was a lab technician before he went to art school, and has yet to find two tears that look alike. He’s also investigating how temperature, humidity, and even the cause of the crying can influence a tear’s structure.
“[A] dark field microscope will light up the tear on a black background, so you can actually see the beautiful pattes and shapes,” Mikkers says in the Quartz video above. “I think tears are so unexplored. We need to figure out why.”

SHAFAQNA IN COLLABORATION WITH FORT RUSS – The most important information event of Friday was Vladimir Putin’s interview with Bloomberg, in which the Russian president touched on key issues on the global information agenda. I am sure that dozens of publications are going over this interview and discussing every question and answer in it, but I want to propose to you, dear friends, to look at this from a different angle.
The point is that John Micklethwait, the editor-in-chief of Bloomberg who interviewed the Russian president, is not merely a joualist, but one of many joualists who has participated for many years in meetings of the Bilderberg Club as a full member of this shadow interest group whose opinions determine the policies of Weste countries. I think that this explains the unusual format of the interview and the fact that Vladimir Putin called Micklethwait a “specialist” and debated with him more like a politician than a joualist…

SHAFAQNA – Wikileaks has exposed an email that US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton sent to an unknown account on 11/30/2015, detailing the ways Israel could marginalize the Iranian threat by overthrowing the govement of Dr. Bashar Al-Assad.
Clinton outlines in the first paragraph of her email, how to directly deal with the growing threat of Iran’s nuclear program:
“The best way to help Israel deal with Iran’s growing nuclear capability is to help the people of Syria overthrow the regime of Bashar Assad.”
As one of the main politicians calling for the removal of Assad by force, Hillary Clinton has time-and-time again revealed her hawkish nature when it comes to any exteal threat to Israel in the Middle East.

SHAFAQNA – The first time he tried to escape a tough existence in his village in weste Myanmar in 2004, Junaid Zafar was thrown in jail for five years.
Like many other Rohingya Muslims, Zafar was seeking to flee poverty and persecution in Buddhist-majority Myanmar and he did not wait long after being released from jail to try again.
This time, his parents sold off possessions to raise about $1,000 to pay people smugglers to take him to Malaysia.
Zafar, the eldest of three siblings, finally made it in 2011.But like thousands of other Rohingya in Malaysia, he now finds himself living in a precarious limbo, having to work illegally due to official restrictions, and with resettlement to another country where he could lead a more stable life a distant dream.
“I have been here for five years, some other refugees have been here for 10 years.
I feel like I am wasting my life,” the tall, slender man, now 31, said.
